Tribal Odyssey is an improvised style of group dancing that
originated from American Tribal Style belly dance.  Kawakib
(Anthea Poole) and Miramar are the co-creators of Tribal Odyssey
which was conceived in 2001.   Together they have been working
together to grow Tribal Odyssey into the colorful and exciting group
dance which includes beautiful Tribal Veil and intriquing Gypsy
Skirt Combinations!

Tribal Odyssey dancers wear colorful Gypsy style costumes with
elaborate belts, headpieces and jewelry.

Because Kawawib's students know the same dance vocabulary as
Miramar's,  they are sister tribes and can dance together.   

There are many opportunities for students to perform at informal
haflas, dance recitals and other events.  Tribal Odyssey is all about
fun, creative expression and an opportunity for both the novice and
professional dancer to perform.
